Savannah from Regina, Canada

Hello, my name's Savannah. Cool site by the way. Um, I was just wondering if you had any tips on visualization. I suck!

Dear Savannah,

Visualizing can be hard because everybody assumes that when we visualize we are only using our internal eyes. 60% of people actually can't close their eyes and "see" a red apple. But they can smell the apple, taste it, feel it, or know that the red apple is there. When visualizing, you want to think in as much sensory detail as you can. Close your eyes and know that the red apple is there. Feel the waxy texture of its skin, the coolness of the meat. Taste the tart sweetness if you were to take a bite of it. Hopefully this will help you not suck at visualizing anymore!
