Ali from Canada

Hi there, I was reading a section in a book about color magick. It tells me that the purpose of black was: returning to sender, divination, negative work, and protection. By negative work, does it imply "black magick"? And if so, how can its purpose be negative work AND protection? This may seem like a silly question, but it genuinely confused me, and I'm just starting out.

Thank you! PS- Is it wrong to do spells to ask the Goddess for wealth and abundance? I've noticed a lot of spells for wealth, along with love spells, in this book as well.

Dear Ali,

Many colors can be used in "black magick". It's all about intention. Magick is neither black nor white, it just is. The practitioner sets the tone or shade.

No, it's not wrong to ask the Goddess for wealth and abundance. Just remember that you have to spend time communicating with the Goddess and not just constantly asking her for things.
