Is there an appointment I can make with someone to remove the evil eye? It was placed on my grandmother after the death of her first son, and has been passed down to myself.
NO! Do not make an "appointment" with anyone to remove a curse you feel has been placed on you. This is actually something you can do on your own. 13 Magickal Moons has a Curse Removal kit that has had extremely positive results!
I have been a practitioner of The Craft for some time now, and what a fun journey it's been. Anywho, my question is, when I started this path there were some lovely little tricks provided by "powers that be" which I learned with time and dedication to slightly hone.
Not too long ago, I started finding that my senses started becoming heightened, not all at once, thank the Gods, but one by one. I just wanted to know if anyone had any insight on this or is it just one of those subjective experiences, and I just need to enjoy the ride?
It's not uncommon for a practitioner to become more aware of their growing senses the more connected they are to their spirituality and the Divine. So in answer to your question... just enjoy the ride!
A lot of times prosperity candles have oils, gemstones, and/or herbs that correspond to bringing prosperity towards the user. Remember to charge any candle you buy with your intent, otherwise it's just a nice smelling candle.
Hello Team. I was wondering how a crack in a crystal would affect it's performance, for lack of a better term. I know it may sound silly, but I swear I read that it some alters its abilities, I just can't recall how. Blessed be.
Some believe a cracked crystal, especially clear quartz, can produce more chaotic energy. Others believe a cracked crystal produces no energy at all. Me, I believe the crack doesn't mean much except that it's cracked. When a crystal has zero energy left in it, it usually breaks fully apart and will look dull and blah.
Hello, my name is Paigon and I am 17 years old. I did a love spell - I guess that's what it was anyway - a while back. I used a lot of my own blood and then I burned the paper with my words and watched as the smoke fled out into the universe. It worked, and I'm afraid that the only reason some things may have happened were because of this spell. Tonight, I am thinking of doing another blood/average spell. My words are flat and I just want to make the bond between me and the universe stronger. I sometimes beg for sadness as sadness is my only comfort. I do not want to lose Sarah because of this and because of the spell, would bonding my sadness with love be harsh for Sarah's sake? Will it ruin everything we have? I'm sorry if this is crazy and you can't make out what I am saying in the pure sense. But basically I want to be more in love and I don't want to be selfish with magick and Sarah herself. I want stronger love and I am afraid that magick will somehow make chaos. I do trust the universe, but I am afraid I have ruined everything because I have used magick instead of actually falling in love. I don't know but here you go, haha! Thank you.
If you really want to make the bond between yourself and the Universe stronger, connecting and communicating would be much more effective then any spell. Honey, the fact that you said "sometimes I beg for sadness as sadness is my only comfort," concerns me a great deal! Sadness is something we go through and something we should live by. Please talk to your parents about seeing a psychiatrist or at least a counselor. Undo whatever spell you did. Sarah doesn't need to be connected to whatever sadness you have going on. Magick should be used to help enhance your life and help improve what you have in your life. Any love spell you created can be easily undone using the same process you used to create it. In the future, I recommend you don't perform any love spell to strengthen a relationship unless (a) you two are committed to each other and (b) they know about it.
Is there a ritual or spell for depression and anxiety? I suffer from both and it really affects my life. I have anxiety attacks around women, as a result of which, I have been painfully single my whole life. I freeze when around women so bad I can't talk to them in person. This also causes me to freeze during job interviews, which has cost me several jobs. I wanna try magic before I go putting a bunch of chemical pills in my body.
The Ask-A-Witch team takes depression very seriously because it's not only an emotional/mental problem, but a chemical one as well. Please read our article on Depression for more information. A ritual incorporating the goddess Kwan Yin (compassion) and the god Ganesh (remover of obstacles) has worked for a lot of folks. A lot of images of Kwan Yin involve her pouring healing waters, so anything symbolizing water would work. As for Ganesh, an elephant image would work (as he is the Hindu god with the elephant head). I would also recommend using a pink chime candle for Kwan Yin and a yellow chime candle for Ganesh. You can use a rose quartz gemstone for reducing the depression and a carnelian for motivation and moving forward. You'll charge them during the ritual and then carry them with you once the ritual is complete. Go from the heart when writing the ritual itself; it doesn't have to be complicated, just meaningful for you.
I am unsure if I am a witch or not, but it is oddly only related to sexual things. For example, it seems when I am in the same room as somebody and I feel an amount of passion or lust, they begin to feel it too. Also, I have witnessed my conscious thoughts start to affect a person who is dreaming, based off of their reactions to what I am thinking. Sometimes, as well, my fantasies come true if I wish for them hard enough. Can you let me know what is happening? I am not that experienced in witchcraft or anything, and I have been searching around, but I cannot seem to find any specific name for my sexual powers, or what they mean. Please get back as soon as possible. I am getting very curious of what I am and what I am capable of. Thank you so much!
I'm thinking it has less to do with witchcraft and more to do with energy. Sexual energy can be a very powerful force when we are around people we feel a pull towards. What you are doing is projecting your energy out, and that energy is affecting those around you. This is actually something you need to stop doing since you are forcing your energy on other people. An easy way to control your energy projection is to wear black tourmaline. Black tourmaline creates a protective barrier between you and other people. I'm not sure what you mean by "I have witnessed my conscious thoughts start to affect a person who is dreaming, based off of their reactions to what I am thinking." To me this seems a little creepy or stalker-ish.
My family and I moved to a new place in 2014. Since June, 2014 things have been happening: 1. I have been harassed by someone online - mainly cyberbullying - the person who is doing the bullying thinks I'm someone named Jo from England. (Which I'm not). I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong to get the person attached to me and is there anything (spiritually) I can do to get rid of them? 2. Since moving, my daughter (11) has had trouble sleeping. Is there anything I can/should do to help her sleep? She used to have amethyst stones under her mattress that seemed to help in our old house, but they have disappeared since the move. Thank you for any and all help.
1. You most likely did nothing karmically to have this person harass you. It all has to do with their crazy ass and their inability to understand that you are not Jo. If the harassment is happening on social media (i.e. FaceBook or Twitter) then block them. If you've done this and nothing has changed then it's time to put them in the freezer! You'll need a freezer safe bag filled half way with water, if possible a picture of them (or just write their name of a piece of paper), and a black pen. On the back of the picture/paper write: LEAVE ME ALONE. Put the picture/paper into the half filled freeer bag and close it. Now throw the whole thing into the freezer and forget about it! 2. I would put black tourmaline (protection), bloodstone (absorbs negative energy), and citrine (anti-nightmare) gemstones between the mattress and box spring. Keep us up to date!
This is going to more than likely be seen as a stupid question but here it goes anyway. I have a family member who is currently in jail and has been there in holding for almost a year. (He hasn't been tried/sentenced yet). Do you know of a spell that I could possibly do that could get him out sooner or at all?
You could do a spell for justice, but be warned... with justice spells, ALL guilty parties are punished in some form. I don't know what your family member did, but it might serve them to just stay put for now.
One of the members of the Ask-A-Witch team has recently re-released her first novel, Magick Charm, on Kindle. It's only $2.99 to buy it, but you can also read it for free via Kindle Unlimited or from the Kindle Owner's Lending Library if you're an Amazon Prime customer. Thank you for supporting an Indie author! Good karma points to everyone who shares this post! - Jen About Magick Charm:

Janie Adler likes her quiet, orderly life reviewing books for a small New Orleans newspaper exactly the way it is. So what if Duke Hot Pants, the hero of her favorite romance novel, is the only man in her life? She has a Pulitzer Prize to chase. That is until her quirky twin sister Rachel moves in, bringing boyfriend drama, a smelly ferret, and irrational belief in all things magickal along with her.
Persuaded by a local voodoo priestess-and maybe one margarita too many-the twins cast spells to improve their love lives. Loser-magnet Rachel focuses on avoiding the wrong men and Janie seeks her romance novel ideal. While plenty of eligible bachelors flood into their lives, Janie only has eyes for her coworker who lives in the apartment downstairs and works in the cube next to her.
But the twins soon discover the incantations' many unintended-and dangerous-consequences. The increasing number of mishaps and misfortune putting the sisters in grave peril seems more like the work of a curse. Can Janie and Rachel's "twintuition" save them from the menace stalking them? I just moved and am in a new city. I've been mostly a solitary witch for about six years, but it's rare when I practice or research. I grew up in a Christian-heavy family who shun the idea of magick. The same goes for my in-laws; no magick, fantasy, or fun. Now that you know a bit of my background, I was wondering if you could help me and my husband find a teacher so that neither of us are wandering aimlessly trying to figure out our beliefs.
The Witchcraft 101 series just began on March 12 at 13 Magickal Moons. Both you and your husband are welcome to join us on Thursday evenings. Because Culpepper is a ways from Occoquan, you could join our class via a webcam using the free program call Ooovoo (www.oovoo.com).
